Total number of pages is 600+, 27cm x 35 cm (Extra Large Atlas). That page format fits five 5×5 cm chess diagrams in a row.
600+ pages of no grab bag concepts but Basics, Tactics, Visualization Skills development, Calculation Ability, Blindfold Chess, Terminology, vocabulary. Specific problems are identified and solutions are proposed to address them. Logic of what’s happening on the board is employed and backed up with computer evaluation of positions. Most games from very beginner to advanced levels are decided by tactics, so TACTICS, TACTICS, TACTICS—that’s what a player starting from scratch needs to master first.
A focus on self-study through playing specific positions against engine, converting material advantage in games vs engine and sparring games with engine on lichess.org, getting familiar with the Analysis board and its tools, saving Studies, etc. A list of HAVE-TO-DOs is supposed to be a roadmap for beginners to turn to when they feel lost. The theory is given in more than 30 articles.
